The iB3 originated from public competitive calls with the aim of revitalizing the research area of the Department of Physiology, Molecular and Cell Biology (FBMC) at the School of Exact and Natural Sciences (UBA).

Currently, iB3 brings together faculty members, researchers, and students motivated by challenges in the fields of biosciences, biotechnology, translational biology, and neuroscience, forming a young, diverse, enthusiastic group with an interdisciplinary vocation and a strong commitment to gender equity.

We decided that having four walls in which to “pipette” is not enough; rather, we seek to consolidate a community that works in a horizontal, inclusive, collaborative manner, committed to research, teaching, and outreach (understood broadly as engagement with society).

We have embarked on this ambitious project with great enthusiasm, convinced that individual drive is strengthened by collective support and feedback in pursuit of the common good.
